Now Accepting Scholarship Applications for 2026!

NCCYou is proud to support the next generation of leaders through our annual scholarship program. Each year, we award a $500 scholarship to a local high school senior who shows dedication to their education, involvement in their community, and a passion for making a difference.
 
Eligibility Requirements:
– Must be a graduating high school senior (Class of 2026)
– Must be a NCCYou member
– Must plan to attend a college, university, or technical school in the fall of 2026
– Must submit a completed application, and an answer to the question in 500 words or less
Application deadline is April 10, 2026.
 
Scholarship is also open to NCCYou employee’s family members and family of board members as long as applicant meets the requirements listed above. Applications will be reviewed and selected by a scholarship committee outside of NCCYou employees and board members. If you are selected as a scholarship recipient, you are agreeing for Northern Communities Credit Union (NCCYou) to use your name and photograph for any marketing purposes regarding the scholarship.

Check Back for 2026 FSC Scholarship Opportunities!

The Foundation Scholarship Council (FSC) has officially launched the 2025-26 scholarship program. This year, the council will be awarding $18,000 in $1,000 individual scholarships – providing 18 Minnesota credit union members the opportunity to cut the cost of college. Any member of a Minnesota Credit Union Network affiliated credit union pursuing post-secondary education in the fall 2026/spring 2027 OR is a high school senior graduating in 2026 is eligible to apply.

The 2025 Scholarship question is:
Discuss a significant personal experience that has shaped who you are today. How has this experience influenced your educational and career aspirations? What lessons have you learned, and how do you apply them in your daily life?

The deadline for submissions was November 30, 2025.
