When life gets busy, NCCYou is here to help. Our skip-a-pay program will give you extra flexibility when you need it most. With skip-a-pay, eligible members may be able to skip a loan payment or two and keep more money in your pocket for other priorities. Skip-a-Pay Terms and Conditions
- Member may qualify for up to two months of skipped payments per year.
- Loans with a monthly payment of more than $500 or have 72-month term or greater are only eligible to skip one month.
- You must have a minimum payment history of twelve months to have a qualifying loan.
- For joint loans, all borrowers must sign the form.
- A $35 charge will be added to your loan balance for each month you choose to skip-a-pay.
- Visa, student loans, lines of credit, single payment notes, real estate, home equity, and mortgage loans are not eligible.
- Interest continues to accrue on your loan while payments are skipped, your loan term will be extended, and you may pay more interest than was originally scheduled.
- GAP coverage allows for two skipped payments per year, up to 10 over the life of the contract. Coverage will not be extended past the original maturity date.
